Sometimes you’re ready to level up “a little bit sooner than you’re ready to do it”
A couple of weeks ago we had Lee Godbold from JRA on our podcast before we attended the biggest junk removal convention, JUNKCON, which was hosted by JRA. (JUNKCON is the premier networking and knowledge-sharing event for the junk removal industry.)
Lee made a good point, while on our podcast, on when you should start hiring for your junk removal business. “It’s probably a little bit sooner than you’re ready to do it”
When you’re running a business and your goal is to slowly get out of working “in” the business and more “on” the business you need to make sure you do it sooner rather than later. You don’t want to end up with so much work on your plate that you can no longer look for someone to take over a specific role you need help with.
Don’t wait too long and let your business start running with you.
Take the initiative, trust your instincts and execute on finding the right people to take over the roles you no longer want to do on the “day to day”.
