Hire people that have the opposite strengths you do.
When you're building a business you are most likely filling the 6 buckets of business by yourself: Marketing, Sales, Post operations, “The Thing you do”, HR and finance. Now I don’t know who is reading this but I can guarantee you are not an expert in all of these areas, especially if you are building a business from the bottom up. This is why you hire people with opposite strengths than you.
If you continue to do everything in your business without hiring experts in the areas you lack strength in… your business will eventually fail.
Take an honest look at your business. What are your biggest weaknesses that you wish you had an expert to take over for you? Write them down and start looking for people with those strengths, hire them and invest in them. The more you do this, the faster your business will grow.
Stop riding the endless hamster wheel to “struggle city” and hire people that have different strengths than you do.
This is probably the best investment you can make in your business.
